When I was in 1st grade, one of the things that I loved was that grandma volunteered in my 1st grade class. She volunteered in Mrs. Walton's class. Even when none of us grandkids were in Mrs. Walton's class, grandma still volunteered. I remember going with her to volunteer a few times when I was in Jr. High. Grandma was notorious for keeping busy whether she was working, doing church stuff, or volunteering with community things.
